"Life in Paints" was created as a semester-long project in my Digital Video Special Effects class at Georgia Tech. It not was not only a video production project as the majority of the work involved in creating "Life in Paints" was writing the code for the special effect featured within it. However, no good video is without a story. "Life in Paints" depicts the relationship between life and art through the previously mentioned special effect.
The effect seen in "Life in Paints" is our take on Tour into the Picture, a technique by which 3D scenes may be created from existing 2D images with minimal effort.
