365 Adventures in 2011: Day 58 – Beaker hat
Some time during the Christmas 2010 season, I spotted a guy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park wearing a knitted Beaker hat (you know, the “meep meep!” guy from The Muppets) and I wanted one. But due to the cold weather and the sheer awesomeness of the hats, they were sold out in the park for a long time. That is, until I visited yesterday when I finally scored one. Ghostbusters from Mattel
I’m extremely excited to finally get my hands on some official Ghostbusters action figures. Egon comes out in just a couple of weeks followed by the rest over time. There’s even a figure of movie “villain” Walter Peck coming out, complete with containment unit accessory. It appears that the figures were guarded at Comic-Con by some Ghostbusters booth babes.
