New Cobra Commander Action Figure, Kinda
I was almost looking forward to this summer’s G.I. Joe movie, until I saw this…
From retroist.com:
Cobra Commander in silver mask or hood is iconic? Why mess with that? Bad decision…

I also don’t understand why Hollywood feels the need to mess with a good thing. I’m not saying Cobra Commander necessarily needed to be wearing a bright-blue jumpsuit, but the expressionless shiny mask is REQUIRED. Since when does Cobra Commander where a modified plastic version of an aircraft breathing mask? It looks like something we would have seen in from a TIE Fighter pilot in Star Wars rather than in G.I. Joe.
Hopefully, this is just one of many of Cobra Commander’s looks in the film.
TweetWEEKEND WEB: American Idol Experience Madness

As much as I try to avoid posting about the same topic more than once in a short time period, I can’t resist posting a link round-up for all of the American Idol Experience content that I’ve posted over the last few days.
Since Thursday’s world premiere of the attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I’ve done almost nothing but edit, compress, and upload video from the event and now that it’s all done, I want to make sure that everyone who wants to see it has a chance to. So here are a bunch of American Idol links:
- Eight Video Interviews with American Idol Celebrities
- Eight more videos of the entire American Idol Experience finale show for the media including Ryan Seacrest, Paula Abdul, all 7 past Idol winners receiving special awards, and performances by David Cook and Carrie Underwood
- Inside the Magic Podcast (Show 202) featuring binaural audio of the complete American Idol Experience finale show
- Video of 27 American Idol celebrities gathering for a photo shoot and chatting with each other (also includes Mickey Mouse)
- Brief Video of David Archuleta, Sayesha Mercado, David Cook, and Carrie Underwood riding the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
- Huge photo gallery from the world premiere event
