365 Adventures in 2011: Day 5 – (Un)healthy Tron Legacy obsession
I think I’m one step short of becoming the Tron Guy. Okay, maybe it’s not that bad, but I am rapidly forming an obsession with all things Tron Legacy:
Today I framed my new Tron Legacy double-sided one-sheet poster you see here. Also pictured is my shelf of Tron Legacy toys that includes:
4 identity discs (3 deluxe light-up, 1 throwable)
2 disc launchers
4 deluxe action figures (2 of which talk)
8 smaller action figures (3 are sitting in vehicles)
2 deluxe Light Cycles
1 deluxe Light Runner
1 Recognizer carrying case filled with several die-cast vehicles
and a set of battery-powered LED lights to illuminate it all.
Not pictured is my collection of Tron Legacy trading pins. Also not pictured are my Tron Legacy Nintendo DS game, my 2 Tron Legacy books, my Tron Legacy soundtrack, or my Tron Legacy hoodie and T-shirt.
Yeah, Tron Guy here I come.
TweetBest new toys and collectibles at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con
Judging from the amount of toys showcased at Comic-Con, if I attended, I would probably spent most of my time staring at them wishing the release dates were sooner than later. Of course, that’s exactly what I’m doing here at home, so I suppose there’s really no difference. Anyway, here are my favorite toys, sculptures, and other collectibles that I’ve found photos of:
Ghostbusters from Mattel
I’m extremely excited to finally get my hands on some official Ghostbusters action figures. Egon comes out in just a couple of weeks followed by the rest over time. There’s even a figure of movie “villain” Walter Peck coming out, complete with containment unit accessory. It appears that the figures were guarded at Comic-Con by some Ghostbusters booth babes.
