Facebook to offer free classifieds
From nytimes.com:
Facebook, the social networking Web site, is adding free classified ad listings, putting it into competition with dozens of established companies like Craigslist and many newspapers.
Facebook, which has 22 million active users, more than half of them in high school or college, hopes that the new feature will offer yet another reason for users to return to its site regularly, instead of going elsewhere to conduct their Internet business.
I recently signed up to Facebook after seeing some people post about it in the Inside The Magic Forums. Now I know why I couldn’t any of my friends or old classmates using the site, since half of its users are still in school.
I think being able to have free classifieds is a cool idea, although I’ve been using MySpace for a while now and just found out in this article that they already offer free classifieds. But as many agree – myspace is sometimes a mess for finding anything.
Shrek The Third action figures out

From mwctoys.com:
Shrek has had a number of items produced for it. There were the excellent action figures from Mcfarlane, along with a ton of other product (plush, mini’s, etc) released when they had the master license with the first film. Hasbro stepped in and picked up the license for the second film, and stunk up the room worse than Shrek himself. Now MGA Entertainment, makers of the controversial Bratz dolls, steps in to do their own line up of action figures, minis, plush and other items based on the third film.
Looks like the new Shrek figures from Shrek The Third are coming out. I still like the original ones from Mcfarlane best. I don’t really know how many Shrek figures a person needs.
TweetSimpsons-themed Xbox 360

From engadget.com:
It may have taken forever for The Simpsons to reach the big screen, but it looks like Fox isn’t wasting any time turning products yellow to tie-in with the movie, following up its Simpons-branded Samsung cellphone with a Homer-fied Xbox 360. Obsessive collectors could be in for a hard time tracking one of these down, however, as Microsoft’s only producing 100 units to be given out at a series of special events and promotions.
I love The Simpsons, and I love my Xbox 360, but I don’t think I’d want this sitting in my living room.
TweetSeaWorld San Antonio: Corporate blogging done right

From seaworldcoasters.com:
Yesterday, we showed you the video, but today you can take a look at the faces of our team members as they ascended to the top of Journey to Atlantis this past weekend. The picture says it all.
You can see more pictures of Journey to Atlantis at the SeaWorld San Antonio Flickr site, and we have set up a group where you can share your own photos as well.
I love how SeaWorld has been promoting their new ride in Texas with these updates, videos and pictures (using Flickr, Youtube and Veoh). In my opinion, these things don’t “spoil” it for those that haven’t ridden it – it only adds to the excitement and makes them want to ride it all the more.
