Uploading higher quality, longer videos
Youtube is great for getting your videos seen, but it doesn’t offer the best quality and it limits your videos to 10 minutes. There are other sites that offer better quality and longer videos, but who’s going to see them besides those you tell? It’s a catch 22.
I think I found a site that offers a solution. Veoh.com allows you to upload long, high quality videos. And if you have a Youtube account, Veoh will automatically send your Veoh videos to Youtube.
Here’s a recent video ride-through I recorded of Journey Into Imagination. Check out the differences in quality…

TweetWould You Brave The Griffon?
From blogcritics.org:
TweetBusch Gardens Europe will unleash Griffon on its visitors in late Spring. It will feature an intimidating 205 twenty-story drop at 90 degrees. Thats straight down by the way. If that wasnt enough, brakes will hold riders at the crest of the drop for a few seconds so they can stare down at the ground far below. In addition, Griffon was designed by the acclaimed designers who have created some of the best steel masterpieces of the past 15 years. Busch Gardens has a history of having fewer, but more highly rated attractions.

Soarin’ Queue Upgrade?
From screamscape.com:
TweetPark News – 5/15/07 It seems something interesting may be going in behind the construction walls in Soarin’ queue. To paraphrase a quote from a park manager about the improvements, guest will never want to leave the queue once they’re finished with it. I’d take a wait and see approach on that one however until we know more.
Rough Waters for POC 3?
From o-meon.com:
TweetThe real warning shot across the bow for the third outing of Johnny Depp’s swishbuckling Captain Jack Sparrow and his merry band of cohorts came from the cast of At World’s End. The current issue of Entertainment Weekly, now on newsstands and available online, features a “making of†story, Days of Plunder, by Josh Rottenberg.
Rottenberg, who had direct access to At World’s End’s cast and crew, writes extensively about the problem’s faced by the film’s writers and director in tying up all POTC I and II’s loose ends and myriad storylines.
While there’s no question the movie will reap heaps of booty at the box office, it won’t necessarily be all smooth sailing. With At World’s End, at 167 minutes, promising to be even longer and more narratively complicated than Dead Man’s Chest, [Director Gore] Verbinski is already bracing himself for another round of stinging reviews.
“So tell us about your character’s arc in the third movie,†Orlando Bloom, who plays Will Turner in all three Pirates films told Rottenberg. “I said, ‘Dude the writers can’t even explain the third movie.â€
Sgt. Rock Film “Moving Forward”
From darkhorizons.com:
TweetIGN Filmforce recently caught up with Dark Castle Entertainment VP David Gambino to talk the status of the “Sgt. Rock” comic adaptation.
Gambino says John Cox’s screenplay for the proposed film is “fantastic and everybody’s really happy with it,” and that discussions are currently underway as to how to shoot the WW2-set picture.
“It’s really just about trying to attach cast right now and really decide what the movie is going to be, how we’re going to make it. There’s been talk about possibly doing it like a 300, really making it like a graphic novel come to life, but no decisions have really been made on that.” says Gambino.
