Here’s a great photo posted on Flickr by Andrew Lipson recreating the famous M.C. Escher drawing, “Relativity,” in Legos.

From orlandosentinel.com:
Tigger, the Walt Disney World character, is no longer in the cross-hairs of the State Attorney’s Office.
No charges will be filed against 31-year-old Michael J. Fedelem, the employee playing Winnie the Pooh’s bouncy friend, the State Attorney’s Office announced today.
Prosecutors reviewed the complaint that Tigger punched a 14-year-old during a home-video session at Disney-MGM Studios last month.
I’m happy to hear that the right decision was made in this situation. It was pretty clear in the video that Tigger was not at fault of anything except making sure his head wasn’t torn off by a scheming family. Tigger should sue the family for defamation of character.
I’ve decided to embrace Digg and feature a “Digg this Podcast” button on the main ITM page:
http://www.distantcreations.com/insidethemagic
Please hit the Digg button and increase the ranking of ITM in the Digg podcast directory. While I don’t think we can reach the heights of the TWiT podcasts, I do think we can at least make it into the “up and coming” list.
You can also use this link to digg Inside the Magic.
In case you don’t know, Digg is a web site that lets users rank various links by either “digging” it (giving it a thumbs-up) or “burying it” (a thumbs-down). They’ve recently added a podcast listing that uses the same voting mechanism.
So digg away!
And while you’re at it, don’t forget to use the “Digg this Story” button at the bottom of any story on this blog. If you like the story, chances are that someone else will too.
Thanks!
I suppose this is one way to get your hands on the latest next-gen console without waiting in line at 4am.

From wftv.com:
MELBOURNE, Fla. — A trunk load of stolen electronics was recovered and it may be just the beginning. Police in Melbourne are looking for a group of thieves that pulled off a daring burglary early Thursday morning.
Some suspects even led police on a high-speed chase that ended in a rollover crash. There are at least three suspects, likely more, and they are all still on the run.
The store manager believes the thieves hitched up cars to the doors and ripped them right off the front of the Best Buy on Evans Road. The suspects then ran in and ransacked the place.
[...]
The crooks ran in, ripped cages off the walls, smashed glass cases and grabbed only the hottest items.
“Stuff like iPods, GPSs, laptops, probably stuff that’s easy to sell, sell quick,” Goode said.
I’d avoid buying any electronics on eBay for a little while unless you have proof that there are no shards of broken glass embedded in the cardboard packaging.
This was simply too funny not to post.

Did the store owner really think he/she was fooling anyone?
