365 Adventures in 2011: Day 232 – From Anaheim to Orlando
After an early morning Virgin America flight, I returned home, greeted at the airport by plenty of Disney sights. Coming home from Anaheim is sad, but not as bad when living in Orlando. I’m sure I’ll be at Walt Disney World soon enough! (But not by Magical Express…)

It’s D23 Expo time again! And time for another wonderful Virgin America flight to LA. Best airline around. Plugging in the laptop (power outlets!) and hopping online (WiFi!) means spending 5 hours in the air is no different than 5 hours in my office. The time flies while I do. And boy was that a lame line. But it’s true. Anyway… Disney mania on the way.
Tweet365 Adventures in 2011: Day 207 – Southwest to the rescue
After arriving home from San Diego, I received a call at 1:30am from Orlando International Airport letting me know that I had forgotten my laptop bag on the plane. Inside was my expensive Apple laptop, Nintendo 3DS, iPod Touch, and quite a few other pricey items. Fortunately, Southwest’s cleaning crew turned it all in to security where it was locked away in a safe for me to retrieve. I wasn’t anticipating returning to the airport so soon, but was happy to do so to get it all back. This is the first time I’ve ever left anything behind on a plane and it likely won’t be the last, but I’m glad it all turned out okay in the end.

After a long, long day at the San Diego Comic-Con, I had a great dinner in the nearby Gaslamp District across the street from the convention center, in downtown San Diego. This area of downtown is wonderful, full of life, clean, and with plenty of culture and sights to see. And it comes even more alive during Comic-Con.
I ate at a place called Toscana, which served some tasty Italian food.
