No, we’re not talking about the Jungle Cruise — Skipper Ben, Jay and Mark are taking The Disney Torture Test, a charity endurance fund raiser and poor, poor Ben has a breakdown on ride #46 of the Winnie the Pooh ride. Jay and Mark find him and help him through Ride #47 with a history lesson on Paul Winchell, the voice of Tigger.

Jay and Mark get into some trouble doing research and end up on Main Street late, late after closing. Inspired by the credits on the windows they are cleaning, they launch into a history of Walt Disney World as seen through the lives of some of those who made it happen. That is until their work is interrupted by someone who is, shall we say, not in a magical Disney mood. It’s been a long weekend and it’s not even close to being over yet. I attended most of the NFFC seminars on Thursday and Friday as well as the media party/VIP tour of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights Friday night. I’ve also been out and about very early in the morning all weekend and plan to be at Epcot for most of the day tomorrow to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
So… Inside the Magic will be delayed until Tuesday at the earliest. I will have so much to talk about that I’m really not even sure what I’ll be including, but it will definitely be fun!

It’s been released and I was there to capture the excitement at The Apple Store in Orlando.
(The thought did cross my mind… All this for a phone? And these customers are so excited to spend $600? Apple must be doing something right.)
At the recent D5: All Things Digital conference, Wall Street Journal technology columnists Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg interviewed Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. To share the experience, download a free podcast audio or video of their historic meeting. [Jun 04, 2007]
The first part of this podcast is a strangely edited mix — the interview starts a little ways in. It is very interesting, lots of Apple and Microsoft history and a look into the future - Dr. Disney
