We are on Twitter.

I have signed up for a pair of Twitter accounts for myself and for Inside the Magic.

I haven’t entirely figured out what I’m supposed to do with them, but I suppose that will come over time. For now, I’ll be posting things there that won’t be anywhere else… day-to-day, hour-to-hour, and minute-to-minute type things.

Let me know if there’s anything cool I’m missing about Twitter.

Chief Magic Official (CMO) Coverage on Inside the Magic

Coverage of Campaign 2008 - The Search for a Chief Magic Official has arrived at http://www.distantcreations.com/insidethemagic

In this week’s episode of Inside the Magic (Show #152), you’ll hear interviews with 6 of the Top 10 finalists for Chief Magic Official:
Patrick Hurd, Justin Muchoney, Tripp West, David Wotruba, Amy Kate Connolly, and Meggin Weaver

Listen as each answers questions about how they’d make Disney magic and why they’re the right person for the job of Chief Magic Official.

The interviews begin around 28 minutes into the show and run for just over an hour.

Again, you can download and listen to the show by visiting http://www.distantcreations.com/insidethemagic

An iPod is not necessary to listen… just a computer or other device capable of playing an MP3 file.

Enjoy and thanks to all of the finalists that made themselves available for an interview today. If any of the other 4 wish to join me on next week’s show, please contact me and let me know!

From distantcreations.com:

pooh2td61.jpg

No, we’re not talking about the Jungle Cruise — Skipper Ben, Jay and Mark are taking The Disney Torture Test, a charity endurance fund raiser and poor, poor Ben has a breakdown on ride #46 of the Winnie the Pooh ride. Jay and Mark find him and help him through Ride #47 with a history lesson on Paul Winchell, the voice of Tigger.

This week’s segment on the Inside the Magic podcast - National Treasures Audio Tour

Jay and Mark are pleased to present a special Backstage Pass presentation of the National Treasures exhibit at the American Heritage Gallery in the American Adventure Pavilion at Epcot. The exhibit features artifacts from American history collected from across the United States. For those who have had a chance to see the exhibit, this audio tour will give additional information, and for those who have not been able to attend, we trust this presentation will allow you to share in this patriotic tribute to America.

Backstage Pass - “I can see clearly now” Show 135

From distantcreations.com:

Jay and Mark get into some trouble doing research and end up on Main Street late, late after closing. Inspired by the credits on the windows they are cleaning, they launch into a history of Walt Disney World as seen through the lives of some of those who made it happen. That is until their work is interrupted by someone who is, shall we say, not in a magical Disney mood.
