Throughout the ’80s, TV viewers were told by Domino’s Pizza to “Avoid the Noid,” but what did the Noid ever really do that was so bad anyway? I say…
It’s been many years since we last saw that little, red character that Domino’s created for its pizza ads. Isn’t it time to let him off the hook for trying to sabotage their already-inferior quality pizza?
Here’s a look back at some of the abuse Domino’s put the poor guy through:
Though, I suppose it wasn’t ALL bad for the Noid. He did have his own video game:

And if you agree with me that should NOT “Avoid the Noid,” you can always find him on eBay, with great collectibles like these:
THE NOID DOMINOS PIZZA PVC FIGURE TOY LOT CLAYMATION (Current bid: $11.11)
Domino’s Pizza Promo Full Page original one-of-a-kind pencil and ink artwork (Buy It Now: $90.00)
I never wanted to “Avoid the Noid” and I suspect the same was probably true for many of you reading this. Perhaps Domino’s should start a new nostalgia-driven campaign with buttons and t-shirts that read, “I Enjoyed the Noid!” What do you think?

Wow… I had no idea the Noid was a “bad guy”, since I only knew him through the games, and Domino’s only got down here after his time.
