Yeah, I definitely didn’t mean to disparage anyone who takes part in the attraction. If it’s your thing, go for it, maybe someday you’ll become a big star!

If you do become a big star, just say no to the Kidz Bop people…mmmmkay?

Jenna: No one said you made anyone’s ears bleed… not even close. The comments here are about the show in general, not your specific performance. Out of those who have commented here, I am the only one who actually saw your performance and I did think you were quite entertaining and was pleasantly surprised to find that you and the other two contestants had good voices. I wouldn’t stop visiting the attraction based on a few random blog comments. :)

John: The audience votes using a number pad on the armrests at the end of the show. “Simon” was not mean, but did get booed for his negative comments.

I was the first singer in the show, and while it says that I wasn’t great, the name of the game is American Idol Experience. That’s exactly what I got. I got a true Idol Experience. It felt very real, and to be honest, I don’t think the show is a waste of time.

I hope, for those who did watch my performance, that I didn’t make your ears bleed. If I did, I am sorry. I had a great time through the whole experience. I don’t think that I will do it again, based on these comments though. Some of the magic has been taken away from the time I spent doing the experience.

I’m sorry if I made your ears bleed.

I understand the sentiment, Scott, although I couldn’t EVER compare this to a parade or Disney show. In all truth, though, I don’t think I’d EVER save enough money for a Disney trip and waste any time on an American Idol Experience…

To be honest, I (or my dad who usually travels with me) are not big show or parade fans. My dad, especially, is not a big fan of the live shows. He would not even give this attraction the time of day…I might if I didn’t have to wait more than a few minutes to get in.

In my dad’s words “why watch a parade when we could go on the Haunted Mansion 3 more times?” My dad is a wise man. :D

My intentions were certainly not to get you to skip it. :) In all honesty, I really did enjoy it even though I fully expected not to. I think everyone should give it a shot at least once. Go grab a FastPass for Toy Story Midway Mania and spend the extra time inside the American Idol Experience!

I thank you Ricky for this post. Now I can officially skip the show, and know exactly what I’m missing out on ;)

I still think this could be really big, or really bomb…I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
