From alibaba.com:
Disney, the world’s leading diversified international family entertainment and media enterprise, is planning to build a theme park in Shanghai, source reported, citing an expert who participated in the feasibility study of the project.
The new theme park will be located in Huanglou area between the Pudong District and the Nanhui District. The main reason to choose this location is that it is only 10-minute drive from the Shanghai Pudong International Airport and may attract more tourists who can enjoy 48-hour visa-free stay.
The relevant government bodies and the Walt Disney Company are currently negotiating on the details of the cooperation, and the approval from the State Council is just a matter of time, added the insider.

the name 'distant creations' originated when I needed a term to summarize my many projects. my creations encompass a wide variety of fields and areas and are thus deemed as 'distant'.

Will the Walt Disney Company ever go forward with plans to place a Disney theme park outside of Seoul, South Korea? I had read according to a Disney News Report ) and others that there were talks awhile back for a possible park, and that this should’ve happened in 2002. I guess the word in the article was ‘may’. I know from personal experience in having lived as an American in South Korea for twelve years, it would be an ideal place to have a park of this type, and add many jobs for the South Korean people despite the ever-ending threats that continually come from North Korea.
