Attention, Brendan Fraser fans: Circle July 11 on your calendar. That’s the day the actor will visit Orlando and Universal Studios in support of his film, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. He’ll introduce clips from that movie and take questions from theme-park guests at 2 p.m. in front of the Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster.
Fraser is a familiar face at the park. He appears in the film that’s incorporated into the coaster’s storyline.
A side benefit: guests that day will be able to enter for a chance to win a trip for two to attend the Hollywood premiere of Dragon Emperor and to visit the Universal Studios park there. (Prize also includes round-trip airfare and three nights of hotel accommodations.)
There will be additional Brendantics on July 11. His next film, Journey to the Center of the Earth, hits theaters that day. The new Mummy movie, the third of the series, debuts Aug. 1. Jet Li and Maria Bello co-star.
