Hm. Don’t get me wrong, you won’t find a bigger Disney fan and I love staying at Disney Resorts. For the Theming. I have been consistently dissapointed in the quality of the bedding and linens at Disney hotels for the past 10 years. That includes the Grand Floridian, the top of the line. Disney has been behind the curve that entire time on the creature comforts inside a room that have swept the hospitality industry, and in my opinion, they still are behind. My family stayed at Port Orleans Riverside last week. We loved the Resort, but the bedding was no better than a Red Roof Inn circa 1987. I’d love nothing more than for Disney to use the products they are trying to sell from the “Resort Collection” because they certainly haven’t been in evidence our last 4 stays (3 deluxe, 1 moderated) over the past 18 months.

I agree 100%…. Love, love, LOVE Disney, but their beds are awful, and their towels even worse. I have also stayed in all levels of accomodations, and have not been impressed with their attention to comfort at all. But, after all (and Disney knows this well), that’s NOT what we’re there for….

HAHA! That’s exactly what I thought. “Are they actually using these beds at the resorts?”
