It could take another 10 days to determine how Australian actor Heath Ledger died, after an initial autopsy in New York proved inconclusive.
The Oscar-nominated Perth-born actor was found dead in his SoHo bedroom by his housekeeper yesterday. He was 28.
The New York Medical Examiner says an autopsy on Ledgers body has failed to pinpoint the cause of his death and more toxicology and tissue tests will have to be done.
New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly has confirmed a rolled up $20 note was also found by police, but he will not confirm if any substances were found on it.
“We are not going to make a statement about the $20 bill until a test has been conducted,” he said.
