A New Mexico investment company has purchased a three-story office building in ChampionsGate Resort for $8.8 million.
BGK ChampionsGate LLC purchased the 44,605-square-foot building located at 8390 ChampionsGate Blvd. in Osceola County. The building is 100 percent leased.
Joseph L. Rossi and Bret Felberg of Grubb & Ellis Commercial Florida represented the seller, RIDA Associates, the master developer of the ChampionsGate development.
BGK ChampionsGate is a subsidiary of Santa Fe, N.M.-based BGK Group, which owns and manages about 18 million square feet of commercial property located in 29 states. In Orlando, the company owns the 86,980-square-foot Orlando Corporate Park I and II off Colonial Drive near the Fashion Square Mall.
The 1,500-acre ChampionsGate is located five miles southwest of The Walt Disney World Resort. When complete, the resort is expected to include 4,136 hotel rooms, 2,578 residential units, 54 holes of golf, 98,000 square feet of office space and more than 349,000 square feet of retail space.
