From orlandosentinel.com:

The Complete Walt Disney World, researched, written, photographed and just published by Julie and Mike Neal of Celebration, may be the most colorful, visually stunning and deeply researched guidebook on the market. I certainly haven’t seen anything that matches.

The book was researched and photographed with a lot of cooperation from Disney, though the Neals insisted they remained independent-minded throughout. And it contains some pictures and observations that required such deep access, that I’m pretty sure some Disney officials are nervous about them showing up in this book.

The Complete Walt Disney World is by and large a warm, loving portrait of Disney World, for people who want to love Disney World. It’s not the kind of book that will tell people to avoid a particular ride because it jars your neck, or to avoid a particular show because it’s outdated and lame, or to avoid a particular restaurant because the pizza there tastes like cheesy cardboard.

Instead, the Neals look for the bright side, figuring that every attraction has its own charm. “Sounds Dangerous” at Disney-MGM Studios, for example, got trashed in the Zagat book (average survey rating 10.7 on a 1-30 scale, with comments as harsh as “a waste of precious Disney time.”) The Neals found a way around any shortcomings there, noting “The show’s OK, but the postshow is better.”

They call their book a guidebook “on how to have fun” at Disney World.
