According the Travel Channel, the top nine water parks in America Are:

1. Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Texas

2. Disney’s Blizzard Beach, Florida

3. Raging Waters. California

4. Water Country USA, Virginia

5. Splish Splash, New York

6. Soak City, California

7. Water World, Colorado

8. Six Flags White Water, Georgia

9. Noah’s Ark, Wisconsin

Seems that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is strangely absent.

Typhoon Lagoon didn’t even make for a good number 10??? I would have thought that Crush and Gusher paired with the classic attractions they have there would have made it at least a top 10. I mean, where else can you swim with sharks?

Schlitterbahn is crap compared to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. I see this list every year and it boggles my mind…

Where on the Travel Channel is this? Is this the Water Parks show or a website?

I gave up trying to list the “top water parks” show on my page because it was uneven on the Disney water parks. One year they would both be there, the next - nada.

The source only listed Travel Channel — it was taken from a vacation article in the Oprah magazine. Sorry I don’t have anything more specific as to a show or website.
