Ricky Chosen as a Disney Dream Job Winner!

I found out yesterday that I’ve been chosen as a winner in the Disney Dream Job contest!Â Thank you to everyone who voted for me for the last few weeks.Â Thank you thank you thank you!

In June, I’ll be flown to Disneyland in Anaheim to perform my Disney Dream Job as a Haunted Mansion butler!Â I’m so excited.Â I’ll post updates on exact times/dates when I get them.

Hooray, all that time sitting on my computer watching the video over and over again while I voted constantly really paid off! Congrats! It’s great to get a Disney Podcaster in to this! Any chance you could wear your mics while working?! That would be really cool!

Thanks for all your votes. :) The guidelines sent to me explicitly state that there will be no recording devices of any sort allowed anywhere backstage or on me while I am performing the honorary job.

Technically I am not going to be an employee of Disney. I’ll be operating as a contractor for the day with no compensation for my time other than my prize package. So, no technically I won’t be a former cast member… but I will be able to say I worked at the Haunted Mansion! :)
